Search Engine Optimization Technician

We are looking for Search Engine Optimization experts to join one of the fastest SEM growing companies in the Nordic, Eastpoint Media. Due to our phenomenal growth, our introduction to the public market and the large amount of European acquisitions, we are expanding our Search Engine Optimization department. Eastpoint Media a leading Web Development firm, headquartered in Stockholm has an immediate opening within our Internet Promotions Department for an energetic, detail-oriented marketer technician to execute search engine marketing / seo strategies to help achieve client goals and objectives throughout positioning.
We are looking ideally for 1 to 2 years experience in search engine optimization (SEO), search engine marketing (SEM), and an understanding of search engine trends, search engine algorithms and ideally but not a must, Pay-Per-Click (PPC) management. Marketing/Sales experience is a plus. We offer a competitive base salary commensurate with experience and an enthusiastic and rewarding corporate culture.
The SEO technician is responsible for carrying out search engine optimization activities to help achieve client goals and objectives throughout campaigns. The SEO-T must be an enthusiastic, detail-oriented, hardworking professional able to successfully perform search engine marketing activities for a large and high level client base.
Essential Job Functions:
• Perform search engine marketing activities including, but not limited to, website analysis, website remediation consultation and search engine submissions
• Writing client reports on a regular basis
• Ability to customize projects and perform under tight deadlines to meet client goals
• Work closely with the account team and other internal teams to understand and achieve client goals and objectives through the customization of projects
• Proactively report project status of the campaign to the account team and resolve conflicts in requests in order to meet changes in client priorities
• Personal accountability and ownership of work becoming the subject matter expert for client reports, offering support to the project manager or sales manager in client meetings and conference calls
• Tenacity to learn the Search Engine Marketing industry and convey an understanding of Eastpoint Media professional SEO process
• Technical skills such as: HTML/CSS, PHP and/or ASP/ASP.NET, MySQL
• Communication skills
• Ability to see the business side of production
• Ideally scripting abilities (e.g. knowledge of Perl and regular expressions)
• Must have excellent attention to detail and the ability to effectively multi-task in a deadline driven atmosphere
• Excellent writing skills and command of the Swedish and English language
