Ingen koll om det fungerat tidigare. Tror inte det. Det man kan göra är att gå in i Quick Mask och fippla lite för att "faden" att bli som en skarp kant.

After you do the Feather, jump to the Quick Mask mode (press q) then choose Image>Adjustments>Levels (cmd/cntrl+L) and slide the dark & light points to the center (about 140 & 150 respectively) to make the feathering (gradient) a solid edge. Then exit the Quick Mask (press q again) and fill your selection.
