We are Competencer and we help professional advisors bring their services to an online audience.

We are currently looking for a developer to join our core team in Stockholm. As an early developer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing usable and scalable application in a highly agile environment. Your role will span from designing and building a useful and intuitive REST API together with our front-end developers, to refactoring, optimizing and maintaining our existing structures.

We are looking for an individual with an entrepreneurial working style, who likes to take responsibilities and solve problems proactively. If you are eager to learn, solution-oriented, passionate about the latest web technologies and want to join an exciting and driven team, this job is for you.

Your profile:
* You have experience building modern web applications, ideally with an understanding of Python and Django.
* You have a broad knowledge of REST API
* A solid understanding of the full web technology stack (bonus points if familiar with a front-end JS framework like Backbone, Ember or Angular)
* Enthusiastic, up to date and eager to learn about the latest technologies in web development

Key Responsibilities:
* Developing and maintaining our backend (Django, Django REST Framework).
* Implementing new features by writing clean, structured and efficient Python code.
