For in january I will be needing quality colocation in Stockholm.
There are a few things that you have to be offering: 1U Server Space 3 IP Addresses 24/7 Access to the Datacenter 50 GB datatraffic 100 mbit/s Connection. And please note if you also offer the following: Is incoming traffic also calculated? Or just Outgoing, like it should. Please tell us your month price, setup costs, location and address of the datacenter |

There are a few places where you would be able to get access, but most common is that you won't be allowed into the data center, at least not in the Stockholm area.
I think you would be able to get access around the clock at Port 80:s data center in southern Stockholm, check with them! I also wonder why you need 24/7 access, because almost every modern server comes with, or can be equipped with, a remote access equipment, such as mentioned before by Kjette. Using that kind of equipment you can use any data center in the area and you do not need the access, because 99% of all problems will be solved using the remote.

Port 80 looks good, do you know the address of their DC in stockholm?
I want 24/7 access in case of hardware failures. like RAM or hard disks. |

Hammarby Fabriksväg in Stockholm. It is just south of Skanstull.
But my guess is that you will need to pay a fair bit more for your hosting if you need 24/7 physical access to the server. A hardware remote control possibility like mentioned above is a good investment though. You can reinstall your server from scratch, access bios settings, do basic trouble shooting and so on, without physical access. |

I guess (if it's not an extremly expensive server) that it would be a cheaper (and better) solution to have an extra server in the data center, and equipt the both servers with remote controller like iLO, DRAC or IPMI combined with a backup solution that you can access 24/7 remotely, so that you can move everything on the server to the extra server in case of problems.
I don't think that any provider will give you 24/7 access (at least not unsupervised) if you buy less then at least 1/4 server rack (10U), that can be locked. (The cost of 1/4 rack, or supervising technicans in case of problems should cover the cost of two servers instead of one). If the 2 server solution is an option for you I can recommend Sajthotellet for your server hosting. The datacenter they use (Internet Border Technology's datacenter in Vasastan - nearby St. Eriksplan and Karlberg train station - is realy a state-of-the-art datacenter) If you need 24/7 access yourself I think Dataphone and IP-Only might be able to help you (and Port80) |

I wouldn't recommend it, but I think you can get that kind of access at Bahnhof as well...
The reasonable thing to do is to get a good server (it's been years since we had a hardware failure) and a decent SLA. If the thing crashes in the midddle of a winter storm, you can stay in the comfort of your home while your service provider goes to check on the server ![]()

In a modern server, hardware failures do occur, but very seldom. So seldom that you really don't have to worry about it. If you have not already bought the server, go for a remote access card of some kind. Both Dell and HP have professional support organizations and you should be able to have a technician on site within a few hours.
