Better with few good links than many with some bad. Today google moves over to wanting sites with education auhority, having a doctor for example writing content is beneficial for seo. Remember to do seo within your own site, meta tags, alt tags and linking to pages within your own main site. Using also HTTPS as is adviced last year by google.
