Och dessa tvåtusen nybakade poliser ska ju även täcka upp de som pensioneras samt väljer att sluta sitt yrke. Jag tycker inte att du är rättvis när du bagatelliserar det allvarliga i situationen. Vi snackar om att de styrande anser att det är bättre att jaga människor som laddar ner den senaste biofilmen kontra att ha poliser på stan i förebyggande syfte. Barnporrsfrågan har även lyfts fram, varför satsas det inte där istället? Det har ju tidigare skrivits spaltmeter om hur underbemannad den avdelningen är.
Självklart så förstår jag alla här som vill leva i drömvärlden att alla brott prioriteras lika och att även de som går mot röd gubbe ska straffas. Men så som läget ligger idag så måste polisen göra prioriteringar. Om det t ex skulle visa sig att polisen inte kunde komma och ta en anmälan på ett inbrott i mitt förråd för att de var i full färd med att avstyra ett lägenhetsbråk med tillhyggen, då kan iaf jag ta det. Henrik Pontén sa på DH att han ville att alla brott skulle likställas. Jag ställer mig starkt emot ett likställande av illegal nerladdning kontra våldsbrott.
Jag trodde att iaf du spindel, som funnits runt esport, skulle vara lite mer liberal i dina åsikter kring fildelning. Med tanke på att du driver en sajt som lever på att folk delar med sig av film.

Piratrörelsen kommer gå till historien som vår tids största hycklare. De vill snylta på andra men inte att andra ska snylta på deras verk. Om jag inte minns fel så blev The Pirate Bay sura när en snubbe snodde deras logga som omslag till sin bok om piratkopiering.

Recently in Sweden, a book publishing company have been happy to tell the press that TPB have complained about them using our logo on the cover of a new book, entitled "Piraterna" (eng: The Pirates).
They claim that we are full of "double standards" and that we are furious that they have "stolen" our logo. This is of course not the case.
Some background. The publishing company have given some money to some very good authors to make a book about the swedish pirate movement. A worthy cause and it is about time! The publishers then decided to put our logo on the book. We are of course proud of that. The problem is that they at the same time have told people that this is our official biography. And when we've sent e-mail to them, they haven't replied to them. Phones have not been answered.
We have contributed to the book ourselves. If we didn't like the idea we wouldn't have done so. Previously, our logo has been used by many companies, even for commercial reasons. There are people selling inofficial TPB clothing. And we all love that! The case about the book is that we where upset that they claim to be our own biography and nothing else. We even told them that they of course could use our logo, but we would hope they changed it in order to not deceive people.
The publishers, who apparantly didn't even read the book to understand how we operate, decided to do a cheap stunt and quote a few lines out of a much longer e-mail.
We like the book. That's the problem. We just don't like the publishing company. They are also one of those who are for the new IPRED law here in Sweden so we are even more unhappy about them. And this is a fundamental problem. Too many companies with too much money can buy intellectual property like this book. We hope that people will read it, but it would be a shame to give money to this company.
