Mobiltjänsteföretaget Cellsynt annonserade idag att WyWallet kommer förenklas för många kunder med bakgrund av det strul som tjänsten inneburit.

WyWallet has just announced a change taking place from the 1st of June 2013 that will simplify the registration process for many customers paying via SMS.

The upcoming change affects all customers with private subscriptions (all operators) or a pre-paid plan (3 and Comviq). According to WyWallet these options together account for approximately 70 % of all SMS purchases.

Instead of requiring WyWallet registration before an SMS purchase can be made this upcoming change will let one first purchase go through even if the customer does not have a WyWallet account. At the same time an SMS will be sent to the customer with information about WyWallet and that when a second purchase is made you are assumed to accept terms and conditions for the service and will automatically get a WyWallet account registered. If a second purchase is made an SMS will be sent confirming the WyWallet account registration. All-in-all this means that the customer does not actively need to take any action to register a WyWallet account which greatly simplifies and improves the user experience.
