I guess (if it's not an extremly expensive server) that it would be a cheaper (and better) solution to have an extra server in the data center, and equipt the both servers with remote controller like iLO, DRAC or IPMI combined with a backup solution that you can access 24/7 remotely, so that you can move everything on the server to the extra server in case of problems.

I don't think that any provider will give you 24/7 access (at least not unsupervised) if you buy less then at least 1/4 server rack (10U), that can be locked. (The cost of 1/4 rack, or supervising technicans in case of problems should cover the cost of two servers instead of one).

If the 2 server solution is an option for you I can recommend Sajthotellet for your server hosting. The datacenter they use (Internet Border Technology's datacenter in Vasastan - nearby St. Eriksplan and Karlberg train station - is realy a state-of-the-art datacenter)

If you need 24/7 access yourself I think Dataphone and IP-Only might be able to help you (and Port80)
