Nu har man haft lite ledigt, men problemet ligger kvar!

Det är en frontpage mall som min kund köpt, tanken med den är att man inte ska behöva ändra alla undersidor när man ska ha fler länkar i menyn, nu har jag kommit så längt att om jag öppnar alla undersidor i frontpage, sparar utan några ändringar och slänger upp dom på servern, då funkar det och filen include_mainnavigation.htm finns med.

Men ska man verkligen behöva öppna upp alla sidor för att menyerna ska uppdateras?

If you are adding links to the include_mainnavigation.htm page with FrontPage open, it updates all of the pages that use the included content. There have been reports of this not happening to some who are now using IE7.

If you see your new links appear when you open include_mainnavigation.htm, but do not see the changes on your pages, there are a few things you can do:

1. First go to Tools > Recalculate Hyperlinks.
2. Next, close FrontPage. Using Windows Explorer (or via My Computer) navigate to your web folder and see if you find a file called desktop.ini. If so, delete it.
3. Open FrontPage and open your web. Go to File > Preview in Browser. See if your navigation links you added to the include page are there.
4. If they are not there, you will have to publish your web to some location before I can see the coding (which is a bit different when it is published) to detect a problem.
