Somalias toppdomän .SO öppnade återigen den 1 november efter en tids frånvaro. Sunrise pågår just nu och Landrush närmar sig. Läs mer här:

The registry of Somalia has decided to extend the sunrise period for .SO. The sunrise phase started on November 1st 2010 and was planned to end on November 30th 2010. Due to the high demand, the sunrise has now been extended until December 31th 2010. This means that the landrush and the general availability have been re-scheduled as well, as follows:

Sunrise November 1 – December 31 2010. To apply you need a trademark, registered before the 1st of January 2010. The trademark does not have to be registered in Somalia. Name similarity is required between the trademark and the domain name. If there is more than one equivalent application for the same domain name, the applicants will be invited to bid trough an auction.

Landrush January 10 – February 28 2011. Registration will be open for everybody, without any restrictions. If there is more than one application for the same domain name, the applicants will be invited to bid trough an auction.

General availability start April 1 2011. Registration will be open for everybody, on a first come, first served basis.
