We outgrew our name (Rent a Coder) a few years ago. Back in 2001 we were just coders, but now the site includes professionals of all types including: design, writing, personal assistants, paralegals, etc.. Läste precis mejlet från dem i min inbox, de verkar gjort en rad förbättringar i serviceutbudet. Får se vart det lider.

De har traditionellt mest haft lågprisprofil på alla uppdrag så det har varit ganska ointressant att erbjuda sina tjänster som erfaren utvecklare där.

Hm det är ju kunden själv som sätter prisklassen och inte rac själva, men samtidigt så kan jag hålla med om att det samlas många där som söker utvecklare/leverantör från länder med låg kostnad, men samtidigt så ser du de i toppen på listorna som (om man ska tro uppgifterna) drar in hiskeliga siffror.

Bara jag som tycker att det nya namnet är sämre?

Jag är lite kluven, RAC är väldigt inarbetat, samtidigt som jag tycker Virtual worker är bättre, medans domänen vWorker.com inte alls var så bra

Kul med ny design.. men det är ju bara själva "ramen" :(

Har aldrig gillat RAC och det lär inte förändras nu. Domänen var väl inte helt 100 men namnbytet är väl ganska passande.
