Samma här med google apps

Gmail funkar varken på mobilen är datorn. Vad ska man nu göra!? (lite ironisk ifall någon inte förstår)

Hoppas dom kommer upp snart. Tur att det inte är så vanligt att Google sidor åker ner.

Är det nere även för de som kör Premium?

Bör så vara eftersom mail.google.com inte svarar över huvud taget.

Prövade att skicka ett mail till mitt konto, och den verkar inte ha några problem att ta emot nya mail iaf, för RSS-feeden visade att jag mottagit ett nytt mail (dvs mitt test-mail) efter bara nån minut.

Samma här, trodde det var mig det var fel hos eftersom jag höll på och jävlades med Handelsbankens värdelösa säkerhetslösning.

Nu fungerar det igen.

Nu kommer jag åt båda mina konton, ett vanligt gmailkonto och ett domänkonto.

Jobbigt när man kör hela domäners post bara, och har massa dokument osv.

Nu är det nå fel igen. Störande detta.

Jobbigt när både apps å vanliga gmailen var nere.

Ibland känns det så otroligt bra att man valt att inte förlita sig på en leverantör av kritiska saker som e-mail.
Men dock så förstår jag inte heller hur en personlig, otillgänlig, e-mail kan skapa ett sådant hysteri :)
Om det är någon som fixar det snabbt, så är det Google.

Folk grinar ju som aber när det är nere men man ser inte många trådar om hur bra det fungerar när allting är uppe och tuffar.

Ett tips är att aktivera "Offline" i Gmail Labs.
Då kan man läsa och söka bland mail i upp till 3 månader gamla utan att behöva vara uppkopplad.

Om du inte kommer åt Gmail Labs, byt språk till "English (UK)".

Ja, det är precis vad som är problemet. Jag förstår inte hur man kan förvänta sig att en gratistjänst skall vara felfri.
Visst är Google otroligt säkra på det dom gör, men dom tillhandahåller fortfarande en gratistjänst och det bör tala för sig själv att man får respektera fel.

Vill man ha en felfri tjänst så betalar man för sig där vettiga SLA-avtal tillkommer.

Viktigt att komma ihåg är också att allting kommer att dö - någon gång.

Google kompenserar sina kunder. Fick mejl som kortfattat sa:

We will be extending a full 15-day SLA credit to all affected Google Apps Premier customers for the month of February. This credit will be applied to customer accounts automatically so there's no action needed on the part of administrators.

Nu är Gmail nere igen. Osis att vi bytte till Google Apps (premium) timmarna innan första problemet.

Jag har inga problem med något av mina GMail-konton.

impacted by a maintenance event is directed towards another instance of the

particular case, users were directed towards an alternate data center in
preparation for the maintenance tasks, but the new software that optimizes the
location of user data had the unexpected side effect of triggering a latent
bug in the Google Mail code. The bug caused the destination data center to
become overloaded when users were directed to it, and which in turn caused
multiple downstream overload conditions as user traffic was automatically
shifted in response to the failures. Google engineers acted quickly to re-
balance load across data centers to restore users' access. This process took
some time to complete.

The recently launched Apps Status Dashboard includes greater detail on this
February 24th incident, including actions we are taking to continually improve
